A POST on TikTok claimed that a group of men with multiple four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles were openly attempting to steal cables in the wee hours.
The video, which has since gone viral, showed the groups brazenly committing serious offences out in the open in Shah Alam.

Police are tracking down a group of men believed to have stolen cables using several 4WDs in Seksyen 3, Shah Alam, in the early hours of Friday (Feb 20).
Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Ramsay Embol said police received an emergency call from a resident at about 5am.
"Efforts to trace and arrest the suspects are ongoing. The incident was discovered when the witness, who was asleep, heard noises outside the house.
"The witness got up, saw a group of men cutting cables and later attempted to follow the suspects.
"However, the witness was warned off by the group," he said in a statement on Sunday (Feb 22).
Earlier, a 14-second video clip showing a group of men cutting cables in the Section 3 area went viral on social media on Saturday (Feb 21).
Several 4WD vehicles were also seen in the footage, believed to have been used to transport the stolen copper cables.
ACP Ramsay said the group appeared to be knowledgeable and skilled, based on how they carried out the theft.
He added that the quantity of stolen cables and the total losses incurred are still being determined.
