Police have opened an investigation following a viral video showing a brawl involving a group of men that is believed to have taken place at the SkyAvenue shopping mall in Genting Highlands last week.
In a statement, Resorts World Genting also acknowledged the incident, saying it was aware of the matter and had lodged a police report.
"We take his incident seriously and are giving our full cooperation to the police and the authorities in their investigation," it said in a statement.
Resorts World Genting also urged the public to refrain from speculating on the incident.
Meanwhile, Bentong district police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said two reports related to the incident were received at 11.49am and 12.50pm on July 11.
"The case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code. Further investigations are underway to identify those involved," he said in a statement.
He also urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
A 55-second video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing several men involved in a physical altercation at the mall.
