QuickCheck: Was a man beaten up in a Pasir Gudang flat?


A MAN is seen being repeatedly punched, kicked and choked by several others in a series of viral videos on social media.

Despite his pleas to the assailants, the beating continues.

According to the posts, the incident took place in a flat in Plentong in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Did this happen as claimed?

TRUE

Seri Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Sohaimi Ishak confirmed the incident when contacted on Tuesday (April 22) and said a statement would be issued later.

Earlier, a series of videos depicting the incident was uploaded to the Community Roda Johor Facebook page.

It is learnt that the incident took place on Friday (April 18) and the victim lodged a police report on Sunday (April 20).
