Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Azaharudin Tajudin confirmed the incident and said that the car crashed into the bank after its driver accidentally stepped on the accelerator.

In a statement Saturday (April 12), Supt Azaharudin said the incident occurred at a bank in Tanjung Karang at about 9pm on Friday (April 11).

"The incident is believed to have occurred after the 57-year-old driver had attempted to park his vehicle outside the bank. However, he accidentally stepped on the accelerator pedal, leading to him losing control and crashing into the bank," he said.

Supt Azaharudin said the driver suffered minor injuries due to the crash and was sent to the hospital for treatment.
