IT was claimed recently in a viral post on X that a woman was sexually harassed by a motorcyclist in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
According to the post, which was accompanied by a video clip, the motorcyclist stopped the woman to ask for directions on Monday (Jan 15) but started masturbating in front of her.
It was subsequently reported that police began searching for the culprit and made an arrest on Tuesday (Jan 16).
Did all this really happen as claimed?

In a statement on Thursday (Jan 18), Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhruddin Abdul Hamid said police detected the viral post at 4.37pm on Monday.
Police then began a search for the suspect once the victim lodged a police report on Tuesday.
He said they subsequently arrested a 23-year-old local man at Indah Apartment, Damansara Damai the same day.
"We also seized a shirt, short pants, a pair of rubber shoes, a set of keys and a motorcycle," he said, adding that the man did not have a criminal record and his urine test came back negative for drugs.
"The case is being investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code (for public acts of gross indecency)," ACP Mohd Fakhruddin was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian.
