CHILDREN can be mischievous and when they get bored, they can do all sorts of things – and sometimes what they do can affect others.
Also, in this day and age with many people having social media and smartphones, the antics of children can and do go viral.
Recently, a 64-second video clip of a child scratching cars went viral online, and it is claimed that this video was taken in Johor. Did a child scratch up a car in Johor as claimed?

In a statement, Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak confirmed that the incident happened as seen and added that it was at a block of flats in Pasir Gudang.
"We found out that the incident had taken place at around 2pm on Feb 17 and it was a one-time incident. The nine-year-old child is under the care of her 57-year-old grandmother,” he said.
In the video, a child is seen scratching several cars and throwing some of the residents' clothes pegs off the verandah of one floor.
He added that the girl's grandmother had met with the car owners and apologised on her grandchild's behalf and they settled the matter amicably in view of the child's age.
Supt Mohd Sohaimi advised the public to monitor their children and educate them well so they do not get involved in negative acts.
He also urged people to refrain from speculating about the matter as it had been resolved.
