BEIJING: The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China's biggest commercial lender, raised funds by underwriting bonds for supporting anti-virus work and shoring up the real economy.
The bank has underwritten bonds worth 403 billion yuan (US$56.83bil) in the first quarter of this year, with 40 epidemic-linked bonds, generating near 100 billion yuan for issuers.
