BEIJING: Nearly 300 million people have gone back to work in China since the Lunar New Year break as more companies restart business and Covid-19(coronavirus) travel restrictions ease, although many small firms are still struggling to find enough workers to run plants.

Eighteen regions in mainland China have cut the emergency response level as of Monday (March 2), and authorities eased travel restrictions amid a sharp drop in new coronavirus infection cases.
