Woman in China detained after tearing open ATM with bare hands

BEIJING: The police detained a woman in North-east China's Changchun city for tearing open an ATM with her bare hands on Thursday after claiming it swallowed her debit card, Xinwenhua News reported.

However, a bank clerk said they found no cards within the machine.
