CHINA is likely to miss the full-year inflation target set at 3% due to soaring food prices despite various measures taken, the central bank vice-governor said yesterday.
“Even though we have tightened the measures to control (the price hikes), there is a likelihood that the CPI (consumer price index) this year will be over 3%,” Su Ning, vice-governor of the central bank, told reporters.
