PRIME Minister Lee Hsien Loong has urged the International Monetary Fund to “press forward” in giving voice to insufficiently recognised countries in order to make globalisation work for everyone.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the IMF-World Bank annual meetings, Lee said that reforms to IMF governance started on a “positive note,” after the voting shares of China, South Korea, Mexico and Turkey were boosted in the first stage of quota reform on Monday.
