GOOD JOB: The Singapore government has come out tops in a global survey for doing a good job in creating jobs. It led a list of 42 countries whose people were asked whether their governments were doing enough to encourage job creation. Singapore scored 43%, followed closely by United Arab Emirates (41%). New Zealand and Malaysia shared third place with 32%, according to the survey by research company AC Nielsen last November. – The Straits Times / Asia News Network
