RESCUERS are still searching for a Filipino crewman reported missing from the Malaysian-registered vessel Everise Glory, which sank following Saturday’s collision with a container vessel about 14km north-east of the Horsburgh Lighthouse near the south-west coast of the republic.
The navy, coast guard and two salvage crafts are searching for Chief Officer Rogelio Dres Desamito, 51, a Filipino national who joined the crew about two months ago.
