A LAUNDRY collector was sentenced to a year in jail and given six strokes of the cane yesterday, for outraging the modesty of a woman who had agreed to offer her sexual services for S$100 (RM231).
It was one of three charges Wee Teck Poh, 46, pleaded guilty to. The other two were theft and voluntarily causing hurt.
