BEIJING is expected to announce a new policy about cross-Straits cargo charter flights in a major effort to push for direct air links with Taiwan, China Daily learned on Tuesday.
The plans will be made known at a regular press conference to be held by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council tomorrow. They follow the successful operation of non-stop cross-Straits passenger charter flights for this year's Spring Festival holidays.
