Mickey Mouse turns 76


Yuka Ikeda, employee of Japanese toy giant Tomy displays a 35cm tall metallic Mickey Mouse "FUTURE MICKEY COLOR, weighing 2.75kg and made of nickel plated zinc alloy fitted with pants, shoes and tail for the celebration of Mickey Mouse's 76th birthday at the company's showroom in Tokyo, 15 November 2004. 

The metallic Mickey, designed by Japanese robotic artist Hajime Sorayama, known as the designer of Sony's AIBO, will will be available in the market 18 November (Mickey's birthday) with a price of 48,000 yen (440 USD). - AFPpic
