JAKARTA: Indonesian police said yesterday they had made their first arrest directly linked to last week's deadly embassy bombing in Jakarta, detaining a man who delivered explosives to extremists blamed for the attack.
Police chief Da'i Bachtiar said the unidentified man had admitted to carrying explosives to Azahari Husin, a Malaysian bomb maker suspected with compatriot Noordin Mohammad Top of masterminding the Sept 9 attack in which nine people died.
