CHINESE people's huge appetite for houses and cars will keep the country's economic growth at more than 8% per annum over the next two decades.
Zhang Liqun, a senior researcher with the State Council's Development Research Centre, said China's retail sales, fuelled by large consumption items such as houses and cars, would become a leading force in the country's future economic development.
