BEIJING: An explosion in an illegal coal mine in south-east China's Jiangxi province left at least eight miners dead and three injured, the official Xinhua news agency said yesterday.
The blast occurred before midday Friday when an unknown number of miners were working at the mine located in a mountainous area, the report said.
