A statement on the Central Narcotic's Bureau's website said police operatives seized 20,000 tablets of the sedative Erimin-5 from the suspects after they moved in for the arrest at a hotel here on Thursday.

Police said earlier investigations showed the illegal drugs had come from a Taiwanese syndicate and sold in the local market by the alleged trafficker, a 55-year-old male Singaporean. – AFP
