Advani takes over
NEW DELHI: Lawmakers of India's Hindu nationalists, still reeling from their shock loss of power, yesterday chose hawkish former deputy premier Lal Krishna Advani as opposition leader.The election of Advani to lead the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the lower house of parliament came after media reports said former premier Atal Behari Vajpayee rejected the job.
