TAIPEI: A relative of the late Madame Chiang Kai-shek Taiwan's most famous first lady has insisted that President Chen Shui-bian not be invited to a memorial service for the 105-year-old woman who died last week, a newspaper reported yesterday.
The relative, Chiang Fang Chih-yi, accused the president of not respecting the ideals that Madame Chiang wife of the late President Chiang Kai-shek devoted her life to, the United Daily News reported.
