BANGKOK: Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said yesterday he will send his daughter to work part-time at a McDonald's next to her high school to set an example for teenagers.
“It is pathetic to learn from news reports that a 13-year-old girl had to sell her body to make money for nightclubbing,” Thaksin told a seminar on tackling poverty and social evils, citing an example of teenagers taking the easy way out.
