JAKARTA: A dead suspect in the Jakarta bomb blast had attended a hardline Islamic school headed by the Muslim cleric, also believed to lead the Jemaah Islamiah (JI) regional terrorist network, a report said yesterday.
Police believe that Asmar Latinsani, 28, was in the car that blew up outside the JW Marriott Hotel here on Tuesday and is one of a group that planned the explosion.
