SINGAPORE: The city-state's sole listed insurance group Great Eastern Holdings Ltd reported a 41.1% rise in quarterly net profit yesterday as earnings from its life assurance business rose.
Great Eastern, 49% owned by OCBC Bank, said net profit for the quarter to June 30 rose to S$85.2mil from S$60.4mil in the same period 2002.
