BEIJING: China has imposed a record fine of 21.18 million yuan (RM9.7mil) on a mine where negligence by managers led to an explosion which killed 72 workers, an official said yesterday.
The miners died on March 22 when a gas blast ripped through the Mengnanzhuang Coal Mine in Xiaoyi city.
