A NEW international exhibition centre will be built in outskirt Shunyi District, northeast Beijing, to meet a growing demand in the Chinese capital, according to China International Exhibition Centre vice-president Liang Wen.
The first-stage project of the new centre would cost 2 billion yuan (RM916mil). Scheduled for completion by 2006, it would have 370,000sq metres of construction area, Liang said.
