Differences of opinion in the Thai Cabinet have surfaced over how to tackle the issue of terrorism following the case of two Thai Muslims arrested in Cambodia last week.
Defence Minister Thamarak Isarankura has called for tough action against Muslims in the south who host “dangerous and violent sects with links to militants” after the duo – Abdul Azi Haji Chiming, 35, and Muhammas Yalaludin, 41, were nabbed by Cambodian police together with an Egyptian on May 25. They were said to be Jemaah Islamiah members.
