MANILA: US troops, foreign embassies and American businesses in the Philippines have been warned to expect terrorist attacks if war breaks out in Iraq, officials said yesterday.
Manila is taking security precautions while discussing with US officials their possible military support for what would likely be a US-led military campaign to rid Saddam Hussein of suspected weapons of mass destruction, armed forces chief Gen Dionisio Santiago said.
