JAKARTA: Thousands of Indonesian Muslims braved monsoon rains yesterday to stage protests outside the US and British embassies against their proposed joint assault on Iraq.
Muhammad Rahman, a member of the Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia Muslim movement and leader of the rally, told The Jakarta Post online service that the protests were aimed at showing their solidarity to fellow Muslim country Iraq.
