NEW DELHI: India is installing a laser-activated security system at its national parliament following a deadly Islamic militant attack in December 2001, a newspaper reported yesterday.
The Hindustan Times said the US$20mil (RM76mil) security system would be three-tiered, with people and vehicles requiring special laser-sensitive cards or number plates to get past the automated outer gates.
