SEREMBAN: Mentri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim left Istana Hinggap following an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
He slipped past reporters waiting at the front gates by departing through the palace's back entrance at around 1.45pm on Tuesday (Sept 29).
He had arrived at the palace three hours earlier for an audience with the state ruler to propose ways to resolve the ongoing customary and constitutional crisis in the state.
The Undang of Sungei Ujong, Muhammad Faris Johari, and the Undang of Rembau, Hassan Ab Hamid, who were also present, left via the front entrance around the same time as Ismail.
Also present at the palace was CPO Dep Comm Datuk Alzafny Ahmad.
