KOTA BARU: Two cyclists were killed when they were struck from behind by a car at KM18 of the Kota Baru-Ketereh highway.
“The victims were identified as Zamrie Rismawadi Mahmet and Nik Zaki Yamani Nik Abdul Aziz, both aged 49,” Kelantan police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat said confirming the accident happened at 8.30am yesterday, Bernama reported.
Both victims died at the scene from serious injuries and their remains were taken to the Forensic Unit of Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II for post-mortem.
Comm Mohd Yusoff urged the public to share dashcam footage of the incident to assist police investigations.
