PETALING JAYA: There is still hope, says the wife of Fire and Rescue Department Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, who has been missing in the aftermath of the flood disaster in Nepal.
She is currently in Nepal to locate her missing husband and his team mates who were on a hiking expedition in the country,
Hani had recently gone to a hospital at the disaster site to identify the bodies recovered from the scene.
Mohd Fakhrul was among a group of 10 Malaysians known as "Team Loe" who have been uncontactable since floods struck Nepal's Rasuwa district. The group is believed to have been in a valley when the floodwaters hit.
Meanwhile, the wife of fellow Fire and Rescue Department officer Mohd Sani Harul took to TikTok to say a prayer for her husband.
“Four days without any news from my husband and his team in Nepal,” said Aziela Shaharuddin in a TikTok post.
Mohd Sani, who is the Fire and Rescue Operations Division deputy director was also reported missing during the same expedition.
