Online Ihsan Rahmah 9.9 sale set for Sept 9, says Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will hold its first online Ihsan Rahmah 9.9 sale on Sept 9 in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebrations, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said the initiative would allow Malaysians nationwide to purchase essential goods at affordable prices.

“In the spirit of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, and following the initiative undertaken by TikTok Shop, I welcome the continuation of this effort.

“I want this to be aligned with the online Ihsan Rahmah 9.9 sale,” he said when launching the TikTok Shop Summit Malaysia 2026 here on Thursday (Aug 20).

Anwar called for the initiative to be widely publicised to ensure Malaysians could benefit directly from the programme.

The Rahmah Sales programme, led by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, offers essential goods at discounts of between 10% and 30%.
