Sunny start likely for voters

PORT DICKSON: Clear skies are expected as voters in Negri Sembilan head to the polling stations today.

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (Met­Malaysia), favourable wea­ther conditions are expected in Jelebu, Jempol, Kuala Pilah, Port Dickson, Rembau, Serem­ban and Tampin during the earlier parts of the day.

However expect thunderstorms across all districts except for Port Dickson in the evening.

MetMalaysia also said tempe­ratures were expected to range between 23ºC and 33ºC on pol­ling day.

The Election Commission has targeted a turnout ranging between 72% and 75%.
