SEREMBAN: Voters’ continued support for Pakatan Harapan in the Negri Sembilan election will ensure the continuity of development initiatives for the benefit of the people, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic).
The Prime Minister and Pakatan Harapan chairman said close cooperation between the state and federal governments had enabled numerous development projects to be implemented.
However, he said, more remained to be done.
“(Cartaker) Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, or Tok Min, has led Negri Sembilan since 2018 with integrity, humility and a strong sense of responsibility.
“With great humility, I appeal to the people of Negri Sembilan to continue placing their trust in Pakatan under Tok Min’s leadership.
“Do not let the progress we have built together come to a halt halfway,” he said in a Facebook post.
Anwar added that the mandate would ensure the state continued to be governed by a clean, stable administration that served the interests of the people.
“Pakatan will continue to uphold this trust to build a more prosperous and progressive future for the state,” he said.
Nomination day for the Negri Sembilan election is tomorrow, while polling takes place on Aug 1.
