SOUTH Korean actress Lee Da-in is now a mother of two as she gave birth to a baby boy on July 7, Oriental Daily reported.

Lee, who married fellow actor Lee Seung-gi in 2023, had revealed her second pregnancy in February.

The celebrity couple have a daughter who was born in 2024.

Throughout her pregnancy, the 33-year-old Da-in kept a low profile and focused on prenatal care.

But Seung-gi, 39, could hardly contain his joy when participating in the variety show Hidden Singer 8 last month, saying that “the second child will arrive very soon.”

He was reportedly by his wife’s side during the birth.

> For another couple in South Korea’s entertainment business, it was not a happy ending, though.

Oriental Daily reported that Korean singer and actress IU and actor Lee Jong-suk, 36, have ended their four-year relationship.

Apparently, they decided to call it quits as they have been spending long periods apart.

Instead, they would continue their relationship as “senior and junior”.

The 33-year-old IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, met Jong-suk in 2012 when they co-hosted a music programme.

By 2022, their ties turned romantic and they went public with their relationship at the end of that year.

A South Korean media outlet, citing a source, indicated that the busy work schedules of the couple led to them getting together less frequently, resulting in the split.
