Anwar extends 101st birthday greetings to Dr M


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, on Friday (July 10), extended his birthday greetings to former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who turns 101.

"May Tun continue to be blessed with grace, good health and be under His blessings, Insya-Allah," he said in a Facebook post.

Dr Mahathir was born on July 10, 1925 in Alor Setar, Kedah and served as prime minister twice, first for 22 years from 1981 to 2003 and again from 2018 to 2020.

When he was reappointed at the age of 92, he became the world's oldest serving prime minister. - Bernama
