15-year-old boy found dead near Ampang Jaya surau


PETALING JAYA: A 15-year-old boy was found dead near a tree close to a surau along Jalan Enggang Selatan in Ampang Jaya on Wednesday (July 1).

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid said police received information about the incident from a man at 8.11pm Wednesday.

He said the victim, who was no longer attending school and had stopped studying after primary school, was found at the location.

"The case has been classified as a sudden death report (SDR)," he said in a statement Thursday (July 2).
