Choose Barisan if there’s no Perikatan, says Sanusi

PETALING JAYA: If there is no Perikatan Nasional candidate running for a seat, vote for Barisan Nasional, says Perikatan election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor (pic).

The Kedah Mentri Besar also said PAS candidates are the best alternative for Johor voters as they are free of corruption or scandals.

He called on Johor voters not to vote for DAP.

“The fights between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional have made Perikatan candidates the best alternative. This is because both Pakatan and Barisan are flawed.

“Pakatan has not fulfilled their promises in the last general election despite winning Putrajaya.

“Barisan went back on their word after the last general election and collaborated with DAP to form the Federal Government.

“This means voting for either party will be a vote for DAP.”

On Bersatu, Muhammad Sanusi said although the party is in Perikatan, former Bersatu members are waiting to unseat them.

“This is why PAS candidates running under the Perikatan banner remain the best alternative for Johor voters.

“We as a party are free from scandals and crises, and our candidates are corruption-free and sincere.

“If no Perikatan candidates are contesting, take the lesser evil and vote for Barisan.

“Our main objective is to ensure Pakatan loses in Johor,” said Muhammad Sanusi.

Perikatan is fielding 33 candidates, comprising 11 from PAS and 16 from Bersatu.

The rest are from Perikatan component parties.
