KUALA LUMPUR: NCM Co, together with Owner Auction and Lapan Art Auction, successfully launched Jelajah Harta Tanah Malaysia 2026, marking the latest edition of its Auction Carnival series and the official launch of a nationwide auction series aligned with the spirit of Visit Malaysia 2026 supported by Tourism Malaysia.

The event introduced a new nationwide theme focused on exploring opportunities across different regions of Malaysia, bringing together property, automotive and lifestyle elements in a dynamic hybrid auction and carnival format.

This year’s edition drew participation from 14 financial institutions and attracted over 400 registered bidders across property and automotive auctions, reflecting growing confidence and increasing interest in auction opportunities.

Auction performance across regions recorded encouraging results, with the Southern Region achieving an 84% success rate, while properties in the East Coast region recorded a 25% success rate. The Central Region also saw strong competitive bidding activity, with properties achieving up to 26% upbidding, signalling healthy buyer demand for quality assets in strategic locations.

A notable highlight from the property auction was the strong response to newly completed units in prime locations, with buyers showing growing interest in assets offering potential capital growth and rental yield. The event also saw more than 30 East Malaysia properties successfully sold, reinforcing the nationwide scope of the auction series.

The automotive segment recorded successful sales across Japanese, Continental and Malaysian-made vehicles, further demonstrating the breadth of offerings available through the hybrid auction platform.

To support domestic tourism in line with the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia initiative, the carnival also featured tourism-themed rewards and outreach activities. Top three bidders were rewarded with 5-star hotel staycation prizes, while 100 pairs of tickets to Zoo Negara were presented to the top 100 bidders, encouraging wider participation while promoting local tourism experiences.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, visitors were treated to a special appearance by Manja and Wira, the official Visit Malaysia 2026 mascots, whose attendance added excitement to the carnival and further reinforced support for the national tourism campaign. The outreach team from Zoo Negara also set up a booth at the carnival to engage visitors and promote conservation awareness.

Beyond the auction floor, visitors enjoyed a vibrant carnival atmosphere featuring local food and beverage vendors, interactive booths and cultural performances. Event highlights included performances by a local dance troupe featuring multinational songs in multiracial costumes, as well as a fire belly dance performance, adding a festive dimension to the day’s programme.

According to NCM Co, this edition also saw increasing traction among new buyers, particularly those exploring auction as an alternative channel for acquiring quality assets.

The successful launch of Jelajah Harta Tanah Malaysia 2026 sets the stage for the broader auction series ahead as NCM Co, together with Owner Auction and lapan Art Auction, continue showcasing opportunities across different regions under the “Jelajah” concept.

Building on this momentum, NCM Co remains committed to connecting buyers, investors and asset owners through transparent and accessible auction solutions, while driving greater participation through innovative public engagement initiatives and helping owners achieve better value through wider market exposure and mass awareness.
