REAL estate firm Aset Kayamas Development Sdn Bhd has unveiled AK Antara Signature Mall, a lifestyle-driven commercial destination in Genting Highlands.

The grand opening ceremony was officiated by Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail. Also in attendance were Aset Kayamas Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong, alongside celebrated artistes Charmaine Sheh and Shila Amzah.

Spanning over 100,000 sq ft, AK Antara Signature Mall serves as the commercial centrepiece of the Antara integrated development – a master-planned, resort-inspired community set within the cool climate of Genting Highlands.

The mall offers a curated mix of retail lots and kiosks, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage, lifestyle, and wellness experiences.

A key highlight of the development is its seamless connectivity. A covered walkway links the mall directly from Upper Ground Level 1 to Resorts World Genting, and from Lower Ground Level 6 to the Awana Skyway, allowing visitors to move comfortably within the highlands regardless of weather conditions.

Designed to go beyond conventional retail, AK Antara Signature Mall places experience, well-being and social connection at its core.

Among its attractions is Sky Paradise, a large indoor playground offering a fun and engaging environment for families and children, while MRC Wellness introduces specialised health services, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, catering to the growing demand for wellness-oriented experiences.

The mall also features a curated selection of dining and entertainment brands, including Haidilao, Red Box, PappaRich, I Love Yoo!, Tan Hua, Yang Bu Tong, and llaollao, among others.

Aset Kayamas also announced plans for a hotel development under the Sleeping Lion brand.

The upcoming phase will introduce additional commercial components, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM400mil, to complement and strengthen the overall Antara ecosystem.

These expansions are set to bring more entertainment elements and family-friendly attractions to Genting Highlands, further cementing its position as a preferred destination for both domestic and international visitors.

“We believe that AK Antara Signature Mall, and the broader Antara ecosystem, will continue to play a meaningful role in driving local economic growth and reinforcing the tourism industry in Pahang.

“In the spirit of Cuti-Cuti Malaysia, we warmly welcome visitors from near and far to make Genting Highlands their destination of choice,” said Aset Kayamas Development Sdn Bhd executive director Michael Chai Woon Huai.
