Somersby introduces Somersby Light with less sugar, same fun vibe

The Somersby experience paired interactive pickleball fun with tastings of the new Somersby Light.

SOMERSBY has introduced Somersby Light – a crisp, refreshing new cider option with 44% less sugar and 42% fewer calories. It also features a 3.5% ABV and is available in convenient 320ml cans.

“Consumer preferences are evolving, and we’re seeing growing interest in lower-sugar options across everyday choices, including beverages,” said Carlsberg Malaysia marketing director Olga Pulyaeva.

“Innovation has always been at the heart of Somersby, and Somersby Light reflects just that.

“It is about giving consumers more choices – a lighter option that still delivers the refreshing experience the brand is known for, in a way that fits today’s preferences.”

Somersby fans were among the first to get a taste of this new thirst-quencher during the Somersby experience at Connection, Pavilion KL recently.

Attendees took part in light-hearted games and activities such as “Meet Your Pickleball Avatar” and other interactive pickleball-themed experiences, and brought home exclusive Somersby merchandise.

Somersby’s regional ambassador Yeonjun Of Tomorrow X Together also made a special appearance at the event.

Somersby Light is now available at participating supermarkets and hypermarkets, as well as online via Shopee nationwide.
