Police nab two suspects over college student's murder


KOTA BARU: Two suspects have been arrested over the murder of a 19-year-old woman whose body was found with 61 stab wounds in a paddy field in Kampung Simah, Ketereh, here.

Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat, when contacted on Friday (May 1) night, confirmed the arrest.

"Police have identified the main suspects," he said briefly.

Bernama was informed that further details on the arrests would be released soon.

In an earlier statemet, he said that initial investigations found the victim was killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in the padu field, ading that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. – Bernama
