KAJANG: Umno vice president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin is keeping tight-lipped on the party’s stance regarding going solo or sticking with the unity government in the upcoming Melaka state election.

"That is a party secret," he said when asked after officiating the first supreme council convention of the Coalition of Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Associations here in Bangi on Monday (April 27).

On the party's Rumah Bangsa initiative, he said it was not only for former members of the party to return to the fold but also to ease the process for the younger generation to join.

"We will expand it as a platform for anyone who has views or suggestions, and who wants to advance the country and the nation," he added.

When asked about any significant new or returning names, he said the announcement would be made in due time.
