Falling tree damages car in Selayang after heavy winds, rain


PETALING JAYA: Heavy winds and rain in the afternoon led to a falling tree damaging a car in Selayang Baru.

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said that the department was notified of the incident at 5.06pm Friday (April 17).

“The operations commander reported that a tree had fallen and struck a car along Jalan 33. Responding firefighters successfully removed the tree.

“No victims were involved in the incident,” he said.
