PETALING JAYA: Congratulations rolled in from the nation’s top brass as Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman announced his engagement to actor and singer Bella Astillah on Saturday (March 28).
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended a hearty congratulatory message to Syed Saddiq via his X account.
“Congratulations, don’t forget the wedding invite,” he posted, quoting the former Youth and Sports Minister’s engagement video.
The clip shows Syed Saddiq placing an engagement ring on Bella’s finger during their ascent of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh also extended her congratulations to the couple on their engagement.
“Congratulations Saddiq! Big boy now, wishing you nothing but pure happiness with Bella,” she wrote on Facebook.
