Muslims in Malaysia to celebrate Hari Raya on Saturday


KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Saturday (March 21), says the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad.

The announcement was broadcast live on national television on Thursday (March 19) night.

On March 9, the Office of the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal said, in a statement, that the sighting of the new moon would take place on March 19.
