MIC still with Barisan, no decision yet on whether to leave, says Saravanan

PETALING JAYA: MIC denies it has joined Perikatan Nasional, clarifying that the party is still with Barisan Nasional.

“MIC is still with Barisan, as the party has not decided on anything," said Datuk Seri M. Saravanan.

The MIC deputy president said in order to leave Barisan, the Central Working Committee (CWC) has to decide.

“We have not joined Perikatan. As of today, MIC is still in Barisan,” he said when contacted Tuesday (March 17).
